Client is a well established provider of goods and services to all trades. They provide components, hardware and software to Alarm Installers, Electricians, Plumbers and a variety of trade service providers. Included within the product listings is their in-house developed Call, Job, Quotation & System Management Software.
Task Tracking Mobile app allows mobile service engineers to manage all their jobs while on the move, viewing jobs booked, schedule in emergency jobs, taking a customer’s signature upon job completion, recording materials & hours used, processing credit card payments and entering test results on their iPhone. It also allows service engineers to manage their jobs and quotations on the move without the need to return to the office for paperwork. It synchronizes with the office Task Tracking job management system allowing all jobs, appointments and information to be efficiently passed from the office to the engineer and back with details of work undertaken by the engineer.
- We started designing and developing the mobile application based on the desktop application. In designing, we need to custom the desktop application features and data viewing on the mobile view and consult customer to add some useful features such as recording the test result and credit card payments to the mobile application.
- This application is developed as iOS native app and integrate with Microsoft Sync framework to sync the data from server to local app. Besides, we still need to integrate with the Paypal gateway for the payment feature.
- The Mobile solution helped customer to expand the market for their product and solution easily.
